A little Insight

I know i've been posting a lot of stuff concerning tensions in the Middle East. As I mentioned before this is a very interesting topic to me and I think more of my generation should know about it. I don't think many people realize the serverity of whats going on over there. In my blogs there have been a lot of talks of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. These are the 3 major religions that have a huge impact on what's going on in the Middle East. To be honest, before I started studying this topic and before my class that focuses on this topic, I could not tell you the difference with these major religions. I think a lot of this is because it seems like such a dry and uninteresting topic, which it is. However, knowing the religions and the background helps so much to get a better grasp on the hatred, and passion behind the fight that is going on in the Middle East. Keep in mind the violence and attacks is mostly being committed by extremists. I don't want anyone to think that just because Israelis (Judaism) destroyed a house in Gaza that all Jews are bad. Or if I post a story about a Palestinian (Islam) kidnapping or killing an Israeli that all Muslims (Islam) are bad. I would think that we can all be open-minded enough not to think like this.
